Cupping
"Acupuncture and cupping, more than half of the ills cured." (Zhao Xue Ming, Qing Dynasty)
Cupping is one of the oldest healing therapies in the world, found across many traditions. Soft suction cups are placed on the skin to release tension, ease stagnation and get things moving again.

What is cupping?
Cupping gently draws on the skin to improve blood flow and encourage the movement of lymph and energy through the body. It is safe, non-invasive and works with the same meridian system as acupuncture. The gentle suction reaches up to four inches below the surface, helping to release built-up tension and refresh circulation in the surrounding area.
The benefits of cupping
- Eases pain
- Improves blood circulation
- Supports the lymphatic system
- Encourages healthy skin metabolism
How it works alongside acupuncture
Paired with acupuncture, cupping helps relax tight muscles, calm the nervous system and support healthy circulation and lymph flow. Your lymphatic system helps filter bacteria, produce antibodies and keep your fluids balanced, and it relies on movement, breathing and gentle pressure to do its job. Cupping gives it a helping hand.
Commonly used for
Back pain, neck stiffness, migraines, rheumatism, anxiety, fatigue, cold and congestion, and easing the symptoms of asthma.
